It has been a big month for Taumeasina Island Resort since I last wrote to you. I was fortunate to sit on the panel of judges at the 2022 Miss Samoa Pageant, where Haylani Kuruppu, who hails from the village of Moata’a and resides in Victoria was deservedly crowned this year's Miss Samoa.
We welcomed back champion Joseph Parker for the first time since our borders closed and it was a pleasure to have him back at Taumeasina. He was kind enough to provide some feedback about why he always returns to our resort - you can watch his video below.
In addition to welcoming back former heavyweights, we had the privilege of hosting the Governor of American Samoa and his cabinet ministers at the “Atoa o Samoa” diplomatic meetings, between Samoa and American Samoa.
In very exciting news, we are nearing the completion of our brand new 3 Bedroom Cove Villas. These will be among the most beautiful luxury accommodation options in Samoa and we cannot wait to open their doors to our guests.
