HR Administrator
Taumeasina Island Resort is seeking a HR Administrator to support the Human Resources function in our multi-entity organization. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, organized, and eager to grow within the HR field. This position requires fluency in both English and Samoan, as it involves regular interaction with employees across the resort who primarily speak Samoan.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist with the recruitment process by identifying candidates, performing reference checks, and issuing employment contracts.
Assist with onboarding processes including document collection, system setup, and welcome communications
Maintain accurate employee files and HR records, both digitally and physically
Update employee information and assist with HRIS reporting
Serve as the first point of contact for HR-related inquiries from employees and external parties.
Prepare, organize, and distribute HR-related documents, policies, and internal communications
Provide general administrative support to Center leadership
Support payroll preparation by providing relevant data, such as absences and assist with ad hoc HR projects.
Requirements:
Must have tertiary certificate in business administration, management or relevant training will be a plus.
Must have at least 3 years of experience in a human resources generalist or administrative role, within the hospitality industry.
Strong knowledge of Samoa Labour Laws and HR Practices, immigration processes, and cultural practices.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills to interact effectively with employees and management
Strong organizational and multitasking abilities to manage various administrative tasks efficiently.
Must be able to act with integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality at all times.
