Sham Chopra | Executive Chef

Having a passion for all things in food, our Executive Chef, Sham Chopra started off as a Chef de Partie in 1980 after completing his training at Hotel Oberoi Intercontinental. Sham has since worked across South East Asia, Australia and Pacific Islands including his own catering solutions business assisting Airlines and large corporate clients in product development and creating menus for fine dining restaurants. Most recently Sham has worked as Executive Chef and Executive Assistant Manager at the highly awarded Airways Hotel in Port Moresby.

7 years at Gulf Hotel Bahrain 
Pre-opening team at 500 rooms Renaissance Hotel (now Sofitel) in Sydney
Experience at Pan Pacific Hotel Gold Coast, Tradewinds in Cairns
Catered for Japanese, Thai, Australia and New Zealand Prime Ministers, President of India and several Heads of State.

Current Time On The Island

We moved to Taumeasina for 2 nights after staying at Aggie Greys for 3 nights. I wish that we had stayed our entire trip at the Taumeasina! The staff couldn't do enough for us and the accommodation was spectacular.
